The lunar-solar Semitic calendar has a special feature : it is necessary to regularly (Metonic cycle) include a thirteenth month to make sure that Nissan the First occurs on a date close to the Spring Equinox. Very often the month of Adar is doubled up, but occasionnally that feature befalls on Tishri !
