an ancient Assyrian method in use to preserve / protect all kinds of food was burying them underground. This equipment (a kind of clay pot "ܦܹܚܵܪܵܐ" ) was also in use in the ancient wine making method (instead of oak barrels) and molasses making ܪܘܼܒܵܐ ; this method also exists in Georgia (ܓܘܼܪܓ̰ܸܣܬܵܢ) in a tradition called "Kvevri"
